Thank you so much dearest Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche
The great Karma Kagyu Lama, Maniwa Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, has passed away. In the midst of this profound loss, we remember with gratitude his immense qualities and activity.
Our most precious and beloved Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche had the kindness to support Diamond Way Buddhism worldwide for almost twenty years by giving empowerments and teachings, and building stupas – even though he already had enormous responsibilities in Asia with countless students and followers.
He started visiting Diamond Way Buddhist centers at the request of Hannah and Lama Ole Nydahl. They knew each other from the time when they were with the 16th Karmapa and received initiations together.
Lama Ole spoke of Rinpoche as a great Bodhisattva of unique qualities who benefited many through his immense compassion, blessings, deep insight, and realization. More than this, for Lama Ole he was also a close and very trusted friend, a great yogi, and his teacher for very deep-reaching retreats and meditations.
Whenever Rinpoche visited Diamond Way Buddhist centers he would work nonstop, and his endless kindness, interest in people and care taken for everybody was an extraordinary example of realization.
We deeply thank our dearest Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche for his loving kindness to us and everything he did for Diamond Way Buddhism. His kindness and smile will remain in our Diamond Way and in our hearts.
