Lama Ole’s 85th birthday

On Mar 19th Lama Ole celebrated his 85^th birthday.

A few hundred friends from all over the world came to EC to congratulate and show their thankfulness.

His Holiness the 17^th Karmapa Thaye Dorje, H.E the 4^thJamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and the venerable Nedo Kuchung Rinpoche sent greetings. They all expressed their gratitude of our Lama Ole’s incredible achievements thus appreciating his never ending activities following the wishes of the 16^th Karmapa in spreading the dharma.

For more than 5 decades Lama Ole travelled around the world twice every year spreading the teachings of the dharma. He reached innumerable of students, and founded about 600 centers on all continents.

Lama Ole now lives in the Europe Center where his students and friends can meet him.
