New video: the 17th Karmapa on how to practice Buddhist meditation

This video was recently published in which Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, leader of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, gives an explanation on Buddhist meditation. The video was shot while Karmapa was visiting the Europe Center last year, for the annual Summer Course.

There are many kinds of meditation. Karmapa’s explanation touches points that make Buddhist meditation unique, especially the development of wisdom, and the resolve to develop through meditation for the benefit of others.
