Although the 14th Shamarpa Mipam Chokyi Lodro was a Buddhist master of great achievements, he was also a modest man. Therefore, even some of his students may not be aware of the importance of the role that Shamar Rinpoche played in the history of our Karma Kagyu lineage, and the range and scope of his activities.
